Problems With The New Version

<div class="IPBDescription">Can connect, put not play</div>first of all.. I'm usin:
AMD 64 3200+
ATI Radeon 9600xt 128 MB
1024 MB DDR
WinXP (dunno SP and stuff but I've downloaded everything on Win Update)
going OpenGL 1024x768 32bit
I'm not running EAX
I'm using Steam
The newes version of NS (3.0b5 I think it is..)

The Problem:
I played NS the next newest version for 20 minutes ago, then i downloaded the newest version, beta 5, and tried to play.. everything was fine 'till I had connected to the server... It seems like I'm connected and in game.. but I got no picture.... When I press Esc I can see the pic in the bakground.. but when press Esc again to play.. the pic freezes again...

I hop you can help me.. 'cause I'm stuck to NS >.<

I know it doesn't help but I get the exact same thing. I'll let you know if I find the problem. Specs:
Athlon XP 2600-mobile
Shuttle SN41G2V2 (Nforce 2 MCP-T)
Soundstorm Audio (optical out)
ATI 9800 Pro AIW
WinXP SP2 - I made sure the program was unblocked, but to be sure I'll disable firewall.

OK, the problem was the firewall. So you probably have SP2. Go into the Control Panel and open the Windows Firewall app and disable it.
