    Yeah at first I was in awe of the destructive power of the <!--emo&::onos::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tiny.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tiny.gif'><!--endemo--> and the Fade, but now I find I'm using them less and less and the Skulk more and more, I guess because of the lower number of HA+HMG tanks walking around. The biggest group of Marines I've ever killed by myself is 5 and I was a Skulk for that. Fade's are just to slow and big plus can't climb walls and if your an Onos the Kharaa probably won no matter what you do.

    Skulks are still very useful late-game, if not just for the parasite ability. But one thing I don't see enough of out of Kharaa players in late-game is using the skulks' speed. Why gestate in base when you can cover the entire map in a few short moments as a skulk, then gestate into a fade or onos right before you reach the combat? This also allows you to use the vents. True, it's a bit risky, but look at my name?     Skulks late in the game are also helpful to pull the enemy. They see a skulk and "huh easy kill must chase!". You can pull it back to some friendly Fades hiding in the shadows ready to rip 'em

    Skulks are great fun. I noticed a squad of unupgraded marines setting up a little assault camp outside of Bast's refinery, and I knew that they would have turrets online in no time, so what did I do? I charged. Between my crazy movements, the general clutter of all their half-built structures, and a bit of luck, I took out the whole squad. I must have gotten five or six skulk kills in under fifteen seconds.

    The best part was when a newly-respawned marine typed, "There goes the whole team...."

    That was pretty leet! Total Ownage! Though chances are some of them might be wounded. I think that's the reason why no medics is included, or any portable healing device, or any healing structures. Gives the Skulks more chance to finish off the wounded marines? Makes the Commander takes care of his men more?

    Though myself experience a lesser version of your 'leet experience'.

    Me and 2 other Marines were going down in a lift, we know there's a Skulk out there 'cos we saw it just now and we though we were prepared for it.

    But hell noooo.

    As long as we saw him, the Skulk it ripped 3 of us all apart in less than 2 seconds. lol

    I think basically its due to the 3 of us might be wounded, 'cos I only had 48 health remaining.

    But we still win that match though, lol.

    I think because the map was friggin' big, and the marines set up a very well defend base(with siege turrets and all, well defend turret factory etc) in one of the hives very early.
