the new beta 5 changed ns's default steam dir
to the old one :o
thats not a big big problem, but... why? :o

    This was mentioned. It's simply because more people are playing the beta than 2.0x. Thus, it feels more official than 2.0x, and the P designation should be dropped. Besides, it's a full install anyway. Might as well change it now while the opportunity is available.

    We made the switch to NSP in the first place because it was a beta, and because of the experimental/unfinished nature of it, we didn't want it to necessarily replace the previous version for competition and everything else. Having two different directories reinforced this.

    Now we feel like it's very close to leaving beta, and it's solid enough to take over the current 'official' version, so we moved it back. We also realized that no one ever played the old version, so we knew it was time.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
