Fading

and carpal tunnel?
Lately, I've been pwning pretty much every pub as a fade. But the extreme mouse movements required to blink, swipe/hit, run causes some pain in my wrist after a while. I think the fact that my quickswitch is mouse2 also contributes to wrist pain while fading. Does anybody else have some wrist pain after fading for a while? Is this something to be concerned about in the longrun? I'm well aware of the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome and I don't want to have chronic wrist/hand pain later in life. Maybe it's just me...

You should change your control setup so that you dont need a lot of movement to fade.

I haven't ever got wrist pain from using a mouse. What's your sensitivity set to? I know nothing about carpal tunnel syndrome, but if your wrist is getting sore from moving the mouse too much, I suggest you increase the mouse sensitivity. That means you need to mve the mouse a smaller amount to get the same change on the screen.

I think my mouse sensitivty is high enough already. What other control ssetup changes can minimize extreme mouse movement?

Take regular brakes, the pain you're experiencing comes from long time stressing of those muscles in your wrist/arm/shoulder. If you keep up doing so you will cause permanent damage over there. I have exactly the same....I take breaks & train a bit with my Powerball
