OK, so the JP has recieved a slight boost. cool.
HOwever, why does it now sound like a bloody vacuum cleaner? Every game in which I've played today that JP was used, the aliens shouted "Hoover incoming!".
Minor point, but one that needs addressing.
Of course, its a taste issue, but the consesnsus among moost players I've met is - this sound just isn't right.

I didn't like the sound at first, but I'm starting to like it more as time goes on.

    Weirdo,
And do ameiricans not know what Dysons are?

It's a blender. For making skulk smoothies, no less.

I don't think I'd mind it if the sounds were toned done a little (volume wise at least). And the sound played when you pick up the jp is more annoying than flying around. The old pickup sound was great: distinctive and identifiable but not bothersome.

sounds enough like a vacuum cleaner to me. what - did you all think that it shot fire?

(and yes, this was taken from the manual. so I'm not making it up)

Nah, thats from the manual. I remember reading it like a rabit rat when it was first released before 1.0

Sadly, the 3.0 manual doesn't feature cool little story-background sections.

I'm writing part of the new manual for 3.0 as I read this, so I'll make sure to reword how the jp is talked about. Thanks for the input. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
