Ns_eclipse Without The Doors

I was reading one of Zunni's news thing with the screenshots of ns_eclipse without the doors.I downloaded beta 5,firedup eclipse and the doors are still there,and the little place in "keyhole" area near maintenance hive is not there.what happened to it? did the dev team decide not to put it in?



Oh on a sidenote I checkedout bast very sexy and nicely redone map gj to those who rebuilt ns_bast.I checkedout all these maps with sv_cheats on and I can get jetpack ok,I upgrade armory for hmg,I pickup the welder and jetpack no problem,but when I goto pickup the hmg my game crashes everytime and I have to rebind alot of my keys.Is this a serious prob?has anyone else had this prob? cause it happened to me 4 times in a row.


Ns_nancy- I noticed an extra big crate in "mother interface" but I didn't see the new route.

ns_hera- the lip near the rock cavity in "delta core hive" how is an onos supposed to be able to get through that hole to feindoff jetpackers n HA trying to build tf's and trying to seige hive?

    The doors in marine start were the ones that got removed.

    They forgot to put the new eclipse in. GG. And the blocker to cavity in hera, I have no idea why merkaba thought it'd be a good idea to make cavity onos proof, but... ouch.

    Yah, but they arent removed. They are still there and so is the stairs on the far side instead of closer to the doors.     We didn't forget to put it in, but we discovered just this week that there were some terrible 'stuck' problems in the Computer Core hive. It got to the point where players were having difficulty even moving around the hive room, and it really affected the game (just ask Firewater).

    We tried to get the problems fixed in time for release, but couldn't quite do it, so we decided to pull it. It will be added back in to the next release though.

    The back exit to the delta core hive has been expanded, but unfortunately I didn't manage to get it into the build :/ I forgot at the time that oni couldn't get through something that small. Sorry :(

    I was aware of ONE minor clipping issue that is so small in comparsion to the glory of removing the doors. As for getting it fixed, i've got a fixed rmf of it on my computer right now i just need KFS to come online and give me his lights.rad, 5 minutes later it's compiled and sorted.

    And i'm aware that ns_Veil isn't updated, i was under the impression a build of it had been submitted by KFS but people decided to not tell me that it hasn't been. Enjoy the broken vent and craptastic errors in subsector hive for a while longer.

    Well the stuck near the "box" hive exit was not minor. I got stuck there 3 times in one game until I learned to avoid this place at all. One fade died there, and the other spent about 30s trying to get away from stuck (he had to move back and walk around invisible barier)..

    Doors "issue" kicks in just in final stages of game, while this stuck problem affects aliens during whole game.. so it's probably more logical to wait for next eclipse update.

    It's ok Merkaba lol not upset or anything was just curious,intresting changes though <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> should make for some very intresting games and same strats used and some new strats too.


    I love the map and the changes,processing,the ramp in ventilation hive etc.



    Oh Merkaba any chance I can get ahold of the pre ns 1.0 version of hera? do you still have it? maybe in zipform
