So ok I just got the family computer into my room,
and was thinking that I could play the PS2 here
instead of the living room. So the only problem is, I dont have a TV!

I know theres some way to connect your Ps2 to the pc, I just dont
know how.

Someone please explain the step-by-step process.

kthxbbq

    Get a VGA box or a TV tuner card.

    Ehh....no. I have my PS2 and computer in my basement and wanted to do the same thing. See, there are 2 slots on the back of your video card, VGA and S-Video. Both are "out" only. You cannot input anything into these slots. If you want to do this, I would take Bijiy's suggestions and get a VGA Box or a TV-Tuner card.

    Well I just plugged it in to the s video.

    It detected a TV though, and cant switch to it <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Becasue the S-Video port on your video card is output only. If you were to somehow reverse it and make the S-Video on your video card input, then it would work. Oh yeah, and if you could do that I would call you God. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Well can I connect it to a VCR then? And from the VCR to the PS2?

    *edit* What about ethernet? Can I use some program, since I do have
    the network adapter. *edit*

    Hmmm...probably not. Ethernet carries an internet connection and not video/audio. Sorry to burst your bubble. I think that you should still go for the VGA box.
