Commander Drop Lighting?

<div class="IPBDescription">Bigger?</div> It seems as if the little blue balls/stars when the commander drops something are 10x bigger, 10x brighter, and it seems like there are 10x more of them. Can I disable/lower them somehow? cl_dynamiclights 0 does nothing.
