The map is looking good. I like what you did with the red lighting. Layout looks promising too.
Ok I need some help with the layout. I moved the ADS hive up a bit. I dunno how to finish off the rest off the map because i think it will be very unbalanced the way it is?? What do you think, should i go ahead or change it a bit more?
some travel times to give you a rough idea of the size...
Power Core -> Kama Control = 30-35 seconds ADS -> Kama Control = 35-40 seconds

Bonjour!! Completed the the third hive today(coolant hive) r_speeds,lighting,particle system needs to be fixed up/tweaked now. Kobayashi: sory forgot to get those times for you, Power Core hive(top hive) is a bit too close to ms I think thats the only thing that bothers me about the layout for now. . .

Instead push the right-hand side one into the room above, that should make it a little easier. At the same time though some Hives need RTs a bit further away because they are so easy to defend or because they lack siege positions etc. Only MoConnor can give us info on whether it's fine as it is or not.

Noway is any more rt's gonna be added, 11 is loads!! I think that the top hive is close enough, one thing you can't tell from the minimap is the height variation, and there is quite a bit in this map.
But it will soon be tested so until then I'll leave it as is.

there are no curves in the room except the pipe at least from the screenshots it looks this way there all infested so i just took it forgranted and said infesattion and as for your style i was talking about the whole rooms theme seems to be blocky so it dosent look that bad does that make more sens?

I lowered r_speeds in most areas, added particle system, added sounds, fixed up the lighting a bit. On the note of the particle system, ALL my sprites look like f***in shite. Its really annoying, they have all these greeny coloury bits and look very pixely when scaled up a bit (sorry thats the best description i can think of). Does anybody know what causes this?_

Im having a problem with the map at the moment. . .everything compiles lovely grand and there is no errors anywere. . not a thing. But when join a team or shortly after i join the map freezes ns crashes and. . thats it. does anybody out there know what could be the cause.
wait. . I remember one of my sound files has the incorrect path, could that be causing it??

If I were you I would make the falling water out of particle systems. The geometric water isn't ever going to look realistic no matter how much work you put into it.
Stick as much as you can to those things the halflife engine does well.
<3 that looks alot better and i agree with moultano if you can do it out of a particle system it will look alot better allthough arches is better than the avrage straight down
ok, so it has been quite the while since my last update to this map, but recently I went over the whole map rebuilding and adding along the way,just needa redo the ADS hive and its complete bar the usual tweaks and stuffs like that.
Looking back over the map i'm not really happy with the result but i want to get it released and outta the way,there is some crappy level design in this map that i did when i started it but i just cba redoing the whole map.
If anybody is interested in PT'n this map for me please PM me or drop me an email at moconnor@fastmail.fm and maybe if the map turns out to have more potential than i actually think then i will keep at this map big time.
Anyways heres a few shots i just took after running around the map there now
