<div class="IPBDescription">and the best plans around</div> Im gettin a cell phone and need to know what is a good solution/good buy as cell phones go. I dont need alot of time on the phone because i rarely would use it. I was looking at AT&T's 30 and 40 dollar plan which gives me 250 and 600 minutes a month. All free night and weekend would be ideal because that is when i would use it most (past 8)

My best friend just got a cell phone tooo (finnaly!). He already uses it way more than he thought he would. I'd go with a free night-weekend plan, then a small amount of true "emergency only" minutes. Yours sounds good. However, check the latest consumer reports mag for best cell phone/cell phone company/plans ratings. Generally, Verizon and T-Mobile score the highest, and AT&T and Cingular score the lowest.
