Irritating Weapon Sounds

<div class="IPBDescription">reduce their volume</div> Theree sounds: HMG fire, blink fire, and bite (especially while eating a building) have me spamming stopsound or lowering the volume constantly, due to the terrrrrrrible cacophony they manage to make. I would suggest softening up these wavs; a total revamp is unnecessary, althouh bringing back the 2.0 sounds would be best.

    I agree I like the old HMG sound a lot better. For now, you can reduce the volume with a simple edit in sound recorder.

    The new HMG sound actually sounds weaker than the old one. I've confused HMGs for LMGs from a distance before with these new sounds. Much to my regret, when the marine came around the corner...

    The sounds are great. I'd say the only problem is how on some hardware they crackle together when several of the same sound go at once.

    I'll agree, the HMG and the LMG sound really alike when your far away. 3 marines coming at an onos with LMGs.... oh wait those are HMG- dead onos.

    i heard in beta5 , constiency is going to check for the annoying ambients (music) files, the ones that are like 3 minutes long orchestra at start of round...really annoyin for a commander sometimes =\

    The HMG sound is cool, the blink sound I agree is the most annoying thing in the world. I always get silence if I'm fading in co, but in ns you can't really afford to waste the upgrade so I have to resort to spamming stopsound.

    I think you can turn off music. And the old HMG sound was better IMHO. Soyeah.
