The Olympics
<div class="IPBDescription">well... as the name suggests</div> they arn't over yet, but who do you think made a big impact or general influence on the games this year? Do you think that some of the sports like shooting and archery should be adjusted or changed so they depend more on skill? Would you like to see any other kind of sport in the olympics in 4 years time?

Ping pong should be removed / played over a giant tank filled with crocodiles and sharks with guided missle launchers - just like the Greeks intended.
Archery should have the technology toned down (you see all the crap on the bows these days, never used to be like that). DownHill mountain biking should definatly be included in the Olympics as maybe... some kind of style scoring, you could do a bit of dirt jumping or time trials or something.

why not all women events... except weight lifting and shot put and such
also paintball would be cool to be added but i dont know about the naked rule with that
i didn't follow the olympics that much... but how the hell did the US women's soccer team beat Brazil? WTH? as for the entire doping controversey, i don't think there's much to be done about it, especially with designer drugs nowadays. however, i'm curious why several of the dopers were caught AFTER they won a medal. according to TIME magazine, testing is done a day or two ahead of time, and only takes a day to complete, so why the hell were so many medals pulled?
finally, a huge LOL @ american basketball team. most of the best american players didn't even bother to join since they must've got tired of winning all the time, so we throw together a "nightmare team" and loses to puerto rico as a result. wootwoot.
