Graduate Schools In Se Pennsylvania
<div class="IPBDescription">wizard@psu might become wizard@villanova</div> I am tossing around some ideas for graduate schools here in SouthEast Pennsylvania, and wondered if anyone here was:
A. From the area
B. Possibly attending(ed) school.
I just wondered what some of your general feelings about your schools are. Would you recommend it to another?
I have pretty much ruled out U of Penn and Drexel due to distance, but if you really like it there let me know.
Tuition doesn't matter but driving distance does. I live in Chester County and my absolute limit is between Lancaster and Philadelphia and North to Pottsville (land of Yeungling)
(Possible degrees are MS in Systems Eng, Software Eng, Busines Admin (or other technical)

Located right in Lancaster County <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
There are quite a few others in Lancaster, of which you can find <a href='http://edna.ed.state.pa.us/searchresults.asp?txtGoSrchButton=&txtCountyClicked=Lancaster&txtShowIUs=&SortOrder=InstName' target='_blank'>here</a>.
That may be true, but I think they are only found on the lower levels of hell. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> j/k I love Philly.
Drexel/UPenn lie in one of the worst sections of Philadelphia. Although it wouldn't be as bad since I would be commuting. However commuting to Philadelphia is something I would like to avoid unless the school is absolutely worth it. The cost of parking in near center city would kill me.
so yeah, long story short, if you're not gonna live on campus, forget it <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
that said, they have decent graduate housing...
Umm...I beg to differ. My friend's brother went to Drexel for Graphic Design and he took the train everyday.
Well, I graduated in May. However I will be up every now and then for assorted purposes. I am working with Network Club to host more LAN parties featuring NS. I will also be up there every other weekend to visit my girlfriend.
I never thought about getting graduate housing at Penn. The only problem with that is the Philadelphia wage tax that would hit me if I lived in the city. I really don't want to pay $2542 before other local state and federal taxes. I don't know how people can survive there.
You're just like that Marine recruiter that come to my house one day...except online! <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Hehe, I build your weapons. I don't want to USE them <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
