i dont like posting early WIP shots because well there isnt much too look at but i thought id show you guys what my next project is current polycount is 800+ (i estimate when finished itll be around 5000 but im hoping to get it as low as i can

    Damn! Wish I had gotten here sooner, would have nailed that guess! Looking great as always, now that's two pistols I'm gonna have to choose between...

    Actually, is this gonna be the Seburo Exploder? (teh Compact pistoloe) or the Rifle. I would LOVE the rifle, but either way is good... Keep it up my man...

    i thinks chrono is ready to model for half life 4 with those poly counts ;p

    hate to say it man, but 800 polys for only that much is pretty wrong, even unoptimized :/ i'd be taking a really serious look at my modelling techniques. do you work poly-by-poly or extrusion? i know its a bastard, but you really could cut the amount of sides on those holes at the front of the shroud, even taking 2 sides out makes a huuuuge difference to polycount.

    i dont want to do cheap transperancy when i started this i was going for highpoly the reason that bit is so high is because i got 12 9 sided holes in those add up stop complaining

    polycount is 3338 (i know its high you dont need to tell me that)

    i know the smoothing sucks
    and i also know the slide sucks
    and dont tell me to use transperancy on the holes id rather have them modeled on

    still a WIP so stuff are going to change

    I love the sight rail on that, that model would look so good in game, has a totally interesting upper region (which is what you see 95% of the time in game).

    Hmm, only thing I really don't like is how the gun is meshing over all. Some parts just don't fit or look right with the parts around them, heh. Solid model though.
