I'd get over it if it was just a lunch pass. Its just more than that for me- it means losing all of my close friends- the only ones I have.

I'd be fine with making friends with people my grade, but honestly- I haven't met any so far who's intelligence goes farther than sports/whythisteachersucks, or doesn't have TOTALLY warped views, or prejudices against me.

I mean, I'm getting through it, I just...I didn't want to get new friends. Getting all new friends when you were already great friends with your current friends just...kills.

More or less, yeah, they are. They won't go out and saying it, but yeah.

And femme fatale's are the reason I hang out in this group. Its almost all women. And I agree with you that they are maturer, and they all are at the school- but honestly, some just aren't up to my standards for intelligence, and more importantly, morals.

gonna have to agree with Birdy on this one... hardly any difference between NL and the US in that respect. shallow, emptyheaded girls are a lot more common at this age (teens) than shallow, emptyheaded boys. "coolness" (ie: typically shallow emptyheadedness) is something that some boys get and most don't. and the ones that don't usually put up with it. however, most girls will aspire and try to imitate that shallow emptyheadedness, which produces a lot more.. well.. shallow and emptyheaded girls.

You know what? I do think I'm better than these people. I have good reason to.

A guy crashed his car the other day. He was drunk. Ran a stop sign, killed 4 kids and the parents, leaving a 10 year old alive with only 1 leg, and is now gonna spend the rest of his life in Prison. The rest of my school thought that the "Man" was "Bringin down some hate" on this guy. Good riddance in my opinion. I'm not alone in thinking that most of the school is like this either- its my main bonding point with my friends that are leaving, is that we just have common sense, which isn't readily available to the other people. I don't WANT to think I'm better than them, believe me, I bash myself over it CONSTANTLY. I just can't go 5 steps without it slapping me in the face again that this person is a idiot.

Now do note, I'm just talking of those people that I've met. I'm almost sure there are some folks out there my age that DO have this intelligence. One used to be my best friend(till a quite psychopath mother intervened- how is it that she could consider me "worse than the devil" for being a Christian that doesn't dissagree with the Bible, when she's a Catholic that hasn't read hers in 10 years but still calls herself so?). I in fact know a few that are quite intelligent- but their personalities with mine don't exactly mix(I'm not going to stand with someone who says openly Christ is the real devil in the world).

I'm more or less reaching out to YOU guys here, so frankly, I'd appreciate it if you didn't act like such ****, especially you, Zig. I thought you were better than that.

Well, I'd rather be humbled by other's intelligence than laugh at other's. I want to learn more, I want to grow as a human and a Christian- both hard things to grow by, but at least I'm trying.
