Don't think so - it's a Classic gameplay map, isn't it? (AFAIK you can only get MvM in Combat.)
but its more a funmap then a normal ns classic map.
Anything on the hives yet?
The only thing id say is that marines need another 1-2 rts and aliens need another 2-3 rts
- Gorges can web inside the wormhole
- Gorges can build behind the stargate that then shoot through the even horizon.
- The marine gate room is too large, its virtually impossible for a skulk to get through alive. Maybe add some more things to hide behind / smaller.
- Could do with some vents in the marine base.
- Could you get the choppers in the rr to fly around in a circle ? <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
- Map doesnt use the proper ns hulls and hence the onos gets stuck in the floor alot.

I have put it in the map cycle at 83.142.52.17:27015 and peeps seem to like it alot.

I have been playing with it on my <a href='http://www.serverspy.net/site/search/server.html?a=83.142.52.17:27015&g=0' target='_blank'>server</a> for the past 2 hours and in that time there was 1 game won and the rest were draws (I stop the game @ 1hour because of CPU load <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->)
I sugest maybe making some ring teleporters accesable after 20mins? I know it wont stop the alines spamming that exit but it might help.
I really do like this map, it looks really good but it is very prone to draws.

I suggest making it func_nobuild all around the portal, to help marines atleast get in.
I played this in a 26player server, and it was lagging because there was so much room to build ocs and turrets, so keeping as little entities as possible is best.

im pretty sure its not allowed valve said that cz stuff should not be used for other stuff or something like that
Watch Stargate and look at the gate and control rooms, as well as the coridoors to get an idea for the themes. They always have warm lighting, walls have pipes either side, doors have control buttons and are usually very heavy looking etc etc. Try and shy away from those HL computer textures <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Find more ways for the teams to swap sides or make it into some sort of siege/combat map. Untill then its horrible to play because it just gets into a dead-lock
1) Only one route between marines and aliens leads to stalemates. Lots of them. Consider putting in some extra routes (eg those ring teleporter things). This would also allieviate the problem with OC spam at the stargate.
2) OK, I'll admit it. I have a crappy GFX card (nVIDIA RIVA TNT2). Even so, my fps around the alien side of the stargate were, to put it lightly, <i>horrible</i>.
3) Totally dark areas are a bad thing. Particularly around the alien area. Aliens don't have a flashlight and therefore can't see where they're going. (And I hear that there are some flashlight problems with the marines as well.) Put in some lights.
4) Hives that are way up in the sky - great, now I can't knife them (or heal them when I'm a cute little gorgie). And while I'm on that subject, how about some alien infestation?
5) I didn't see any info_locations (wasn't in dev mode though, so that could explain it).
6) The ready room. No "random team" or "observe match" joins. And, I could hardly make out the "join marines/aliens" wording (maybe that's just cos I'm totally colourblind). And, it kind of feels substandard compared to the rest of the map.
Other than that, it's a great idea (brings back old memories of watching SG1), and I'm already looking forward to beta 2.
