Ok i was just messing around with cs and i saw this game. I read about and it looks pretty cool. Now i need to know which due i dl? the beta or the other ver because i want to know which one people play more, also does it auto install? and if not can u tell me how to install it

You have to install Natural Selection 3.0 Beta 1, then Beta 4, then Beta 4a.
just combine it into one mega patch or something.

I'm sure you came to a completely new mod and had to instal it for the first time, instead of downloading patches as they came out.

This still dosn't exactly solve all of the problems....
Is there any chance of getting a redone Beta 1 client (as many of the install problems come from it auto detecting the wrong/a non existant Steam account)
It will be nice to have the B5 patch point at the correct dir (where as B4a curently has to be pointed at your account dir, as it will creat Half-Life)
It's probably cuz all the maps are changed so a direct beta 4a -> beta 5 patch would still be humongous.

Because you've already got the game i'm asuming that the devs will realease two installers, one for the people who already have version 4a and one that's 150megs or w/e for the people that have nothing.

I beg to differ, NS is playable with pings of 300, CS most assuredly isn't fun with ping over 70
