using common sense, i have deduced the REAL story behind natural-selection.

it basically is that the Kharaa aliens came to Earth, and violently took over human facilities. Then, as a counter-measure against the aliens, they sent in their best squad, the marines (but maybe not choice #1 in real life) to come, retake the bases, and destroy the aliens...

    Using common sense...and <b>grammar</b>, you just said that the Khaara attacked and captured Earth (which is never even alluded to in any of the official background), and then the Khaara sent marines against themselves.

    I have no idea about first choices since that sorta popped out of no where. Maybe you'd like to explain your logic?

    Also, you're wrong on the last part. The Kharaa didn't send the marines against themselves. Countermeasures are executed by the opposite side, not the ones taking over... the Kharaa aren't as dumb as you, my friend.

    I think what Ratfire meant was something else: By reading the statement as given in its form (incorrect grammar, apparently, hence, "grammer"), it would mean the Kharaa sent the soldiers against themselves.

    Aaaanyway...enough out of me.

    Accidently spelling a word wrong at 3am, which I corrected by the way, is hardly as bad as writing a so called, "real story" and having your grammar so bad that it doesn't even make sense. Had you actually looked into the issue as Skulkinator did, Azhra, you might have noticed that his GRAMMAR indicated that the Kharaa sent soldiers against themselves as I first indicated. The whole point of my post was that countermeasures are in fact executed by the opposite side, which is exactly why the grammar in the original post was so bad.

    Well actually it seems more like you guys aren't even using common sense when reading and stupidly criticizing his story. Simply because its quite obvious what he meant, and i know he didn't explain it very well (Grammar wise) it is still pretty obvious what he had to say.     PS: if you read the official documents the Kharaa are isolated to the Adrian arm of the galaxy. Which means it is <span style='color:red'>NOT</span> in the Milkyway Galaxy and thus, <span style='color:red'>NO</span> Earth.
