    Because of the lowered RT cost, another RT could quickly be put up in its place. But then you have to restrict the initial Res start so you dont get 1 min fades. It allways seems a problem to lose an RT, but if they are cheap enouph to throw right back up I believe it will keep the res coming in.

    That does help, but it doesn't address the problem that marines, being superior in strength to the skulks, are often able to cut right through and take most of the map by spreading out. That means that until hive-2 and the fades start rolling around, the marines have tons of resource towers that take a while to destroy, and often some of them end up electrified before skulks get to them.
