This game promotes teamwork

Amazing.
I've played many online games, but this one actually inspires/requires teamwork. The Marines were moving in pairs to avoid getting killed...the commander was paying attention to the marines...the aliens were conspiring to set up new hives...it was amazing. I've never played a game with so much teamwork before, and I can't wait to get up and do it again tomorrow. =)

Thank you, NS team.

Also, forgive the incoherence of my post...it's late, I'm tired, and I just got done playing for a long time. =)

Not at all Hobbes, your making more sence then half the other people here.

Glad you found it fun, despite its temporary problems. I tried joining your game, but the server was full ..

I must agree in that NS is pure 100% unadulterated fun!

However, I find that teamwork in NS varies with the type of people playing on your server. I played a game with these guys who all thought they were rambo. It was crap. We got wasted!
Alternatively I played a game with lots of friends, used teamwork, and even though we still got wasted, it was 25x better!

    Note: microphones rock!

In as few words as possible: NS rocks.

I finally finished downloading it and I want to know: which member of the team froze hell over? The teamwork is fantastic! I used to think Chain of Command was the pinacle of team based multiplayer gaming, but NS has shot far beyond it. My jaw dropped in my first game. Everyone was sticking together and the commander was watching over us. That hive assault was beautiful. Four HA's moved in on a mess of Skulks and Fades. I've never experienced anything quite like this before.

    Rock on guys!

PS. I'd also like to say that you have made the scariest game I've played since System Shock 2.

ns is awesome, but there really needs to be auto-balance. I finally found a decent server and the teams were 13 marines, 6 aliens. No one would switch...
