Attack Animation Not Showing...

<div class="IPBDescription">...after a quick weapon switch</div> I have hud_fastswitch set to 1.

The problem occurs when I switch really fast between weapons, like with leap and bite or blink and swipe. If, say, I attack with leap, switch to bite, and then press attack...oftentimes nothing will happen on my screen. I <i>think</i> the attack is still happening, but I can't really say for sure. I also don't recall always having this problem.

I realize this can be caused by lag, but on laggy servers the delay is constant. It happens randomly on servers where I ping 40, leading me to believe that something else is causing it. It's really throwing off my game so any help would be appreciated.

Oh and I should add that I have keys bound directly to each weapon, like weapon_leap, weapon_swipe, etc. I use those keys to change weapons.

Sometimes this happens to me, never as aliens though.

I'll switch quickly between weapons as a marine and I wont be able to see my weapon animations or hear my guns fire. I know however that they are firing because i can watch my ammo drop and i can actually kill things.

Oops, what I actually meant was, sometimes the FIRST time I try to attack after a quick switch, nothing appears to happen. After that initial delay I can attack as normal. The delay screws up hitting marines mid-air though.
