<div class="IPBDescription">England = Battered By Storms.</div> Over here in lovely England, we're suffering some rather
unpleasant weather. (Depending on how you look at it really,
personally i'm fascinated by Thunder + Lighting.... as long as
i'm indoors.)

4 people have been hit by lightning according to the BBC News
Site. 3 of them in London's Hyde Park. The odds of that happening
must be few and far between. And the forth was a 14 year old
who died <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Shops have been forced to close early, Airports have been
suffering huge delays and late-bookings on Holidays to warmer
places have risen.

Take a look at, <a href='http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/3533022.stm' target='_blank'>http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/3533022.stm</a>

Apparently we're going to be having more of this awful weather
later in the week. Which is crappy for me because we have a
family BBQ planned and I want to go see "I,Robot" on Friday <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Well, that pic is what is about to hit us.

    However, in the month of July, my area received nearly 1/2 of its estimated annual rainfall. Its been a real wet one.

    So long as it rains/gets cooler, I don't mind either way. I hate hot weather :/

    Though the whole thunderstorm thing was pretty sudden here in London. Was all bright then suddenly the sky goes dark and the thunder begins crashing.

    Was watching the first lightning strikes here in Manchester at 1-2am. Always cool.

    Lightning at night FTW! So so bright.

    Bleh, haven't had a thunderstorm today in the midlands where I live. Some nice cool weather would be welcome though - I went to the Big Chill music festival this last weekend, and it was insanely hot. I couldn't stay in my tent after 9 am because after that I started to cook. :/

    I even have a slight tan, apparently (i.e. I've gone from chalk white to almost normal).

    Huge storm tonight. Lost power three times, cable internet one time, and some very fast winds that opened a closed window.
