New Stats Program For Ns

<div class="IPBDescription">NS Stats</div> There is a new stats program coming out for NS with in the next few weeks. NS Stats 1.0 beta 1 will come out two days after the next release of NS. I am waiting to make sure that there are no major changes to the logging system.
This program will have live stats parsing.
There will be no other programs to install.
All configurations are by GUI.
Native support for multiple servers.
Low CPU usage.
Is cross platform for all OS's
The program tracks the combat scores differently than the classic scores. The ranking system is an attempt to try and rank on team work while at the same time giving some personal credit.
After a few weeks and bug reports it should come out as a finalized 1.0 system.
Currently the website is down. :-( but it should be up by Midnight Wednesday August 4, 2003 EST.

It will have a little bit more information about the program. Point values and when its released that is where you can download it.

So....either this is the BUS, or the BUS has nothing to do with stats.

I dont think its the BUS. As I recall, the BUS was some big gameplay change, and stats dont change the gameplay at all.

I don't think the BUS is going to happen for a while, the team has bigger problems with the mod and they are currently dealing with them. As for a new stats program? It sounds great, if its easy to install and work well, then that'll be ownage.

BTW, can it take data from multiple servers and post it on one page? Sorta like HLStats?

The stats program will have an applet that is used to look at the scores and all. I will have a screen shot of it up as soon as I can when the site comes up :-).

The applet breaks it all down so that all of the servers can be seen from that one location.
