Bhoping .dem's

<div class="IPBDescription">I've done a search...</div> Ok, i've done a few forum searches, and i've only found 1 demo of bunny hopping, i can only seem to bhop to a certain extent, but really need to fine tune it.

I was wondering if anyone's got demo's of them or others bunnyhopping PROPERLY, gaining alot of speed.

Go get HLTV demos from ampednews.com of any high-calibre clans playing each other. The latest one that I know should contain some good bhopping is exi. vs oss. 1-1 <a href='http://ampednews.com/?page=demos&id=1085' target='_blank'>here</a>.

Hmm I just finished making my video but now that I read what Joe posted im gonna redo it with those say commands.

Ok I tried doing it with those commands but it brought some wierd problems. It would say like "strafe right 100", when I didn't even put a 100 in the say, plus it just wouldn't work correctly sometimes.

exigent has alot of different mouse movements that make it look more complicated than it really is...all he needs is the basic idea...

Remember to hold duck as skulk (otherwise the wall-climbing code makes you stick to the floor). Thats one thing demos wont teach you.

Bunnyhop on good places, but never be afraid to run when it comes to stairs slopes etc. The worst thing to do when bhopping is going forward at slower speed than running, it looks so silly. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Do you know how to 'glide' (gains a lot of speed in a single jump; useful to initiate a bunnyhop)? Gliding is something you probably won't learn from a demo, but it's a valuable skill.

Please could somone post a demo of really fast bunny hopping. What i mean is strafing to both sides in a single jump, its almost like your useing leap. Is this a script or is it possible to do it manually. Ive seen people do this and it just makes the skulk a death machine.

I guess if you did strafe insanely fast while turning the mouse back and forth you could achieve the effect of leap. Maybe someone can do it, but my guess that was a script of some kind.

Sure as hell you can. Use sv_cheats 1 cl_showspeed 1, leap, note the speed, bhop, note the speed.

You can reach around 700-800 with leap. You can reach around 530 by bhopping. If you leap and then continue to bhop, you won't continue at leap speed.

But maybe you can show me a demo of you bhopping consistently at 700 ?
