Natural Selection?
I just wanted to know if anyone here made an ns wc3 map. Today I downloaded a game called "Aliens v1.2" and it included rsr towers, defense/movement chambers, phase gates, armorys, arms labs and the works. They had 1 builder for each side (1.04 style) with marines killing hives and aliens killing infintry portals to win.

There was buyable ha/gl/shotty/mines/hmg at the armorys and buyable carapace ups etc in the chambers. If anyone hear knows of who made it I would like to talk to them about a few bugs .

i dunno who made it, but it sounds fun (and possibly against copyright stuff, depending on who made it and whether they asked permission)

Do they have NS models too? Just wondering because I played a few wc3 maps with them having different models like samurai vs ninja

Do a search on warcraft 3 on the off-topic forums. I'm pretty sure there was a NS WC3 map project.

The models were pretty strait forward. They had marine models, zerglings, hydras, (woodcutter) for the comm and a murlock for the gorge. Everything was pretty pre-set and they didnt even use the name natural selection just the basic gameplay mechanics. I doubt it would break any copyright stuff, i'll search the forums though thanks for the tip I always forget about that option .

Edit: No prior thread on a wc3 map as searched*

There are tools to convert to and from the WC3 model format.

So, an NS-themed map is possible.

I played the exact map. It was great, I had never played it but I was doing very well in it. Me and some other people that had actually played the mod were calling the units their NS names. Its amazing how incredibly similar alot of the gameplay mechanics are.

Too bad that one time was the only time i've seen it hosted...

A good friend of mine made an "NS Tower Defense" map a few months back. It sucked **** and never caught on, but I wouldn't be suprised if someone used parts of his map for something else.
