i downloaded blender and put some shapes together and sort of looks like a kinfe i never used any 3d things before so i dont know how to make a picture of it anyone know of any blender tut thats real easy i want to makethe chansaw knife in fallout 2

    as he said blender there should be a render button on the bottom where all the bottuns are blender isnt exactly the best mdoeling tool i suggest you get 3dsmax gmax or milkshape

    It's not as bad as some... at least most of the words he uses ARE words. It could be like this (I won't mention names, but its not hard to figure it out):

    As for modelling, Blender is not a very good program. Get 3DSMax or at least Milkshape. As for your claim to worst knife, I beg to differ.     apparently you have nver been to the FA forums, otherwise you would be quite accustomed to hearing brand new words that you are assumed to understand upon reading them... I WILL however name names... HeavyArms and DarkSlayer on the FA forums are both cool guys, and give a lot of support to the modelers, but most of the support can barely be read...

    no, blender is not such a great program ^__^ i know because i used it, for you do not find many freeware modellers, and that was all i got when i searched, years ago. Please, for your sake download milkshape or gmax. Blender may be a good start, but cannot export to any usable files. Milkshape (or gmax) are much more useful in the longrun to learn now.

    Blender is not newbie friendly, but it is a very good program. As mentioned, I'd suggest checking out some more blender tutorials, or switch to milkshape or 3dsm

    yea i have 3dsm now the 30 day thing i think i will just stick to unreal i am making a vault 13 map for fallout but i cant make an static meshes for it so now it just looks like wolfenstein 3d if anyone want to make a cool vault door (like the one in fallout)for me that would be cool and some computers
