    512 MB... AGP-card... for... ultra... detail... <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I bet it still required at least >1 Gb to keep it all smooth... One helluva requirment.

    Ooooo

    maybe that's why those models in the screenshots we saw were blocky?

    **EDIT : I'm a nub! GG world. There's 512 MB RAM, not VRAM XD**

    I don't think there are any 512MB cards made.

    And keep in mind this is on "Ultra" setting, not "high" which was previously benchmarked. There are no benchmarks for Ultra setting.

    Whats this gonna run like on an xbox?

    Did the just down the quality level for it or something?

    I mean an xbox isnt nearly as powerfull as most PCs that will run Doom 3 on low settings...

    512 MB SplatForce FX-TI 10.000 has to be the minimum, considering that all those models will require the fastest memory available. Plus another 512 for sounds, maps, OS, and other stuff like that... Hope it looks good enough on a regular 128 MB card too... <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    *Snicker*

    Right.

    Yeah, they just made it look like dog poop on the X-Box.

    I'll be buying this on release day to keep me happy until
    Half-Life 2 comes along. *Nudges Valve*
    If the game runs smoothly on my system in 1024*768
    with details/textures/etc set to "Normal" then i'll be very
    happy.

    I'd better go finish FarCry before Doom 3 pops up.

    I'm either going to run it 800*600 high detail or 1024*768 with medium detail. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
