Ok I was playing NS and got kicked, then HL froze so I restarted my comp, and when it got to desktop all the colors are messed up, like everything is too bright.

I think that the overgamma thingy is fooking windows up <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->
Did you download the server yesterday, then install the client over it today? That might be the problem, or you may have downloaded the server vice the client by accident.
