<div class="IPBDescription">!!!!</div> On a server that I now regular on, we invented a game mode involving combat. This is how it was invented:
The admin and I were 1 vs. 1. I went gorge for fun, and since he was owning me so badly, he used the pistol. When another person joined the game (on aliens), I told him to gorge, also. So, everyone that came in went either gorge, or used the pistol ASAP.
So, this is how you play:
As Marines:
NO HA/JP
NO Gl, HMG Shotty or LMG
As marine, other than that you can upgrade what ever you want
Pistols, knifes, mines, welders, hand grenades are all allowed
As alien:
As soon as you get to level 2, you ABSOLUTELY have to go gorge. If not, you will be kicked.
NO skulk past level 1, no Lerk, Fade or Onos
Anything other than that can be upgraded
Not following these ruless gets you kicked or banned (the admin is making this an AMX plugin I think).
Resupply is the most valuable upgrade as marines, since you can take multiple gorge spits/healspray before you die.
Webs are very effective, and bile bomb is a must to take out their base. If there are 10+ gorges together at your base, dont expect to win. Gorges together<u>></u>marines together. Marines alone <u>></u> gorges alone. So, as a marine make sure you stay together, and try to focus your fire on one gorge at a time.
This is actually (it seems) even more balanced then normal combat, or even classic.
YOU NEED TO TRY IT SOMETIME!!!!ITS THE MOST FUN EVER!!
Just remember all of the rules above, and you'll be fine.
