<div class="IPBDescription">Perfect Dark on PC?</div> <a href='http://mods.moddb.com/3531/' target='_blank'>http://mods.moddb.com/3531/</a>

Interesting! Some of the best times I've ever had with mutliplayer were in Perfect Dark. I really hope this mod gets off the ground OK... if anyone here has some useful skills and likes PD, I'm sure they'd appreciate some help...

Perfect Dark was awesome, but it was sad when it slowed down and it wasn't on PC. This'll fix those problems... for most. I can't run FarCry to well, and I highly down I could run any mods.

Sounds good, I love Perfect Dark. It's probably the best game on the 64. I'll definately be looking forward to this mod!

Personally, I just liked grabbing the Reaper* and running into people. ::evil::

*The Reaper: a big455 gun that fires real fast, but innacurately. The secondary fire mode was using the 'blades' that served as barrels to slice up opponents. Hence the running-into-people bit.

[EDIT] I mistakenly called the Reaper the grinder; grinder is the secondary fire mode.

Double charged maulers FTW. Those were un-freakin-stoppable. That, and having 1-on-1 slayer wars from across the Carington institute. Heh I now remember how I used to jam the door to the firing range open with something.... either a crate or mines, I forget, then fly the slayer out and blow stuff up <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Yeah, you had to bring the crate from the Cargo Hold and place it at the door.

Ah, I remember playing Perfect Dark DM with my friend and his friends. Great fun.
But I don't remember all the names. The mauler, was it one of the alien guns?

What was that one that could see through walls, I became master of using that whilst running along, disorientating but fun.

That would be the FarSight XR-20.
Don't you people know anything :-P

I'll have to go check that site out because I
love Perfect Dark and i've just finished
    the basic mesh for my first Half-Life 2 <a href='http://homepage.ntlworld.com/pete.taylor2/images/xsi-05.jpg' target='_blank'>model.</a>
Maybe I can convert them to make a Perfect Dark
    Half-Life 2 mod :-D

The mauler was an energy pistol - it's secondary fire mode caused it to charge up a 5-shot-in-one blast and glow red. Very nasty in accurate hands.
