Well, it's a tradeoff. You can move quickly but more simply with celerity, or more sparatically yet around the speed of fat with adren. Personally, I prefer celerity.

This depends 100% on two things: Your role/playing style, and the architecture of the level. If you're the fade that has to dominate the other team by killing them because no one else can do it, then celerity is probably going to be for you. The main advantage of aliens is their incredible speed and damage, so celerity only adds more to their inherent advantage. Celerity fades are incredibly fast, and as long as the level allows for this (not conducive to hangups on doorways, walls, and the like), celerity would be the optimal choice. On the other hand, if you're simply a backup fade, or one that isn't doing most of the damage, adrenaline or even silence might be a great upgrade. You don't need to move in and out of battle quickly, and this will allow you to either stay in battle indefinitely (adrenaline), or do incredible hit and run attacks with silence. All of this depends on your style and what you can do in the game. The same would apply to lerk. The lerk has powerful support abilities that are only amplified by adrenaline, but it can become a main fighter in it's own with celerity. I'm sure many have seen the uber celerity lerk in action before, especially in large rooms. It's a trade-off between becoming versatile and specialized that each player has to determine for themselves.

I prefer adren fade because i use blink an awfull lot, seeing as a blink round the map looking for rambos, then sliceing em <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Blinking alot is not a good reason to take adren. If you tap blink to get up to speed, let go of attack, and let your momentum carry you, you will barely use any energy. Aiming upward a bit or blink-hopping will get you even more travel for your energy.

Also, plan ahead so that you don't have 0 energy left when a marine comes by to try and defend his rt.

The only time I ever run out of energy is when I get stuck, and adren doesn't help then either.

I do tap blink, but i spam it a bit when fighting marines because it disoriants (sp?) them and i need the extra energy to attack and blink.

But i think Im going to try clerity fade now for a bit, see if i find it better.

i like adrenaline too but its really all up to preference...some people are really skilled with celerity and some are skilled with adrenaline. It really depends.

adren is nice for ACID GUN THINGY MUHAHA (4th power)

i have totally owned a map by just camping chokepoints and non stop shooting my 25 dmg acid splash cannot, 7 shots real fast do a good ammount of dmg to panicing groups of marines, if you can master it and be a **** with cover, they are shitless, blinking might help but i never needed to i wouldk ill the non heavies so fast muhaha... and just blink swipe heavies or shoot them and hope it still hurt...
