Server Crashing

<div class="IPBDescription">constantly!!!</div> Im not sure whats doing it but it the middle of a game or a map change, every thing freezes, "Connection Problem" shows at the top and then a window comes up saying "Half-Life Dedicated server caused and unexpected error. (that windows XP window that tells you its not working properly) It does lag when there is a lot of buildings.... it just keeps crashing and its really annoying...

I have Charter cable high speed,
Windows xp home edition
80GB
2.53GHz
512 DDR SDRAM memory

More info, are you running metamod? Plugins? Is it a dedicated server machine or do you play and surf the web on it to? Have you done a virus scan? Have you done a spyware scan? Do any other applications experience random crashing?

Windows xp home edition <--- hello bevis!


XP home edition == not exactly the best server platform. Consider an actual server os. 200x server or linux.. Sounds like you have machine/hardware/os for a client not a server.

i think i solved.. i may sound like an idiot but, I got rid of my Bad Load plugs and got rid of a lot due to overloading it lol
