im shocked.. u can just tell by looking at marine and alien base solider, alien hunter varient1 concepts that they are normal marines and fade from ns... that power armour seems to be a HA with a normal lmg and some weird thing coming out of his ar*e
overall, ns rip-off, but i get the sense that this will be a great game... just listening to the finale music gets me pumped and ready to take on anything <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Looks very promising, now that NS is what it is. Bleh, first have to wait for a update for NS, then HL2, and finally the FIRST beta version of a new mod. On top of that, I'm now some "Dark Queen." The official stance regarding 'rip-offs' has always been and will always remain that the devs will, for as long as no copyrighted material is used, wish the creators of comparable mods or games the best of luck. NS is supposed to win its players with its quality, not a (inenforceable) monopoly.

I love how quickly people jump on the "rip off!" bandwagon. as if NS hasn't ripped off countless other games/movies.
playing as a marine is almost just like playing as terran in starcraft. the locations, atmosphere, etc is all clearly derived from the Alien franchise.
heck, a PULSE rifle model was used as the old GL model. if you still think it doesn't borrow ideas - as all games do - you're merely delusional.
NS isn't really a creative work, just a neccesary one. IMO, they borrowed so heavily and so liberally that it can't be called 100% original. I know I'll get flamed for this by the kids who like to suck up, but it's my opinion.
anyway, it's really sad you guys will knock another mod just because it, like NS, borrows ideas. think before you speak a little, will ya'. this mod could be awesome.
someone pointed out how it uses the same initials. what is the point of this?.. who cares? I can't believe some of the nerds on this board.
