<div class="IPBDescription">die IE die ..</div> Hey, im running firefox 0.8 (im too lazy to update) and msn 6.whatever

just wondering if anyone knows if i can set it to check my email through firefox instead of IE.

i have done the usual set Firefox as default, go to add remove programs, remove access to IE, delete IE from the thingy (which doesnt actually delete it -_- )

any ideaaaas? <!--emo&::tsa::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tsa.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tsa.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    You refer to Thunderbird?

    Firefox has no e-mail...

    To explain a bit more (I think Im on the same page here...)

    I also use firefox, but if you are using MSN and click on the "you have 1 new message" link right in Messenger, it uses IE to go to the hotmail site, doesnt matter if firefox is your default browser. This also does annoy me and I am not too sure if it can be changed.

    i dont click on "1 new message" button, i open firefox and go to, for example www.hotmail.com.

    Mozilla 1.7 has a good mail-checker; perhaps you should try that now that you need to update. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    There is a way, but it requires a few plug-ins, most noteable <a href='http://msgplus.net/' target='_blank'>MSGPlus</a> which is a damn good plugin for msn.
    And then you get the msgplus plugin called 'StuffplugNG' that should be available from the msgplus forums (but i can't find it at the minute <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo--> )
    Pm me and ill send you the .dll if you want.

    One of the features in stuffplugNG is it will let you open hotmail in your default browser (as well as other stuff)
