<div class="IPBDescription">the downfall of NS...</div> In 2.0 there were servers. There were even servers in 1.04. there has always been servers for ns since it has been popular enough to have servers. So whats up with no good servers in 3.0? There are servers but not the good servers. The problem with 3.0 servers is bad servers. Ever see the NSA, Joe (j2) servers in your list? Well those servers are bad. Whats up with having servers be like 20/21 and then throw in a reserved slot. That isn't democratic. That is either republican or insane. Ther is an "auto-retry" option in steam. How am I supposed to "auto-retry" when there is a reserved slot? Reserved slots can be good as long as its run by Ham. Ham gave out free reserved slots to the Hampotns nub server back in 2.01. I got 1 and it was a 20/20 (not vision) server. All you had to do to kick off a nub like say a clanner from cri was to type join and then the ip address in console. Then it would attempt to connect and kick the hacker. Now reserved slots cost money. Maybe like 500 pennies per month with 0% interest. Or maybe with interest if you pay with a credit square thing. Anyways what are your opinions of no good servers? What do you think? There are good servers? No just think about this: GibGames Combat only servers.... Not only is it Gib its combat only. The good servers of 2.01 were Hamptons and Homelan KIR clan server. Are there any good NS servers left?

i miss the days of 21l, lgso, ef, and th.
Is it just me or is NS not as fun as those 2.0 days or the 1.04 days?
I can sense a locking due to server bashing.
EDIT: Wow... 4 posts in 4 minutes
I'm a rum & coke man, myself.
Also, a good reason for paying for reserved slots is that the money helps contribute to paying for those pesky internet bills that are oh so big for server operators. Try and be a little more open minded about these issues.
Also I can sense a bit of lockage or editing by admins for server bashing, but we'll see.

Combat maps? ROFL!
With at least 20 people? Why do you have to have at least 20 slots for it to be a good server? Most people find 20 people to be a bit too crowded, especially in small combat maps. I know I generally stick with servers with a cap of 16 players.
