    OOOOOLLLLLD article that I saw a while ago, but yeah. I'm an introvert. In real life.

    That article enrages me for a reason I don't know. Maybe it's the fact someone had to spend all that time to call themselves someone who enjoys quiet and privacy. Or maybe it's the fact he wants a rights movement for it. Genius.

    I'm either introverted or I just suck at life.

    The author makes a few nice points, and then proceeds to trash them with a range of broad generalizations (my favorite being his allegation of extroverts being less intelligent). Stop labelling everything. It's actually possible to enjoy quiet moments without of fitting into a psychological niché.

    I enjoy the part where he says introverts aren't arrogant, then lists why they're better. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Wow, there's a lot of either/or in this article. While I do agree that there are distinctions that should be acknowledged between introversion and extroversion, I heartily disagree with his sentiments about us introverts being oppressed by the big bad extroverts. The last thing we need is another Us vs. Them (which is just too common in western society) between two groups of people who (probably) have more variation within themselves than with the other group.

    As for differences in intelligence, I'm not going to speak of actual numbers; they may be equal in whole numbers or percentages, maybe not. However, I do think there is an availability heuristic concerning introverted geniouses; compare a person who lets everyone know about his work with a person whose work is not discovered until after death. The latter has more mystique surrounding him, and by that thought alone will he be thought of the greater genious.

    Not everything has to be an objective write-up. This was obviously meant to entertain, annoy, or inflame.

    Depending on which kind of person you are to begin with. As I always say, "The goal of all creative writing is to make the reader feel. If that doesn't happen, the author has failed."

    He obviously didn't do any research, has no credibility, and read maybe half a book on the subject. He's just pulling a few chains.
