other than the skin being funky it looks pretty accurate. the thread looks realistly proporsioned (sp?) so its good

Is that a reflection map with a "dent" bump map on the inside?

    Blleeehhhh...

The actual tire part of the wheel is well done as are the spokes but that middle reflective part...

    Blleeehhhh.

That's quite good! I have one comment - I wouldn't have a reflection on the inner rim of the wheel.

SRT Rabb, where did you learn to model that well in one day? I too just got the program and the best I can do is a box...

Because you don't buy a $3000 piece of software if you have no use for it, it's safe to assume he has some prior experience of some type.

Since I really doubt this is for a game or anything, I'd suggest using smoothing groups for the wheels, so they actually look round. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Educational version I'd guess.

Nice job for a first model in 3dsMax! The treads are really nice; I think the worst part of the program is that it's harder to do repetetive detail than it should be.

I didnt model those rims but i've done something similar, anyways i wont hijack the thread with my pics so yeah.. bleh. Gj on your first model though rabb, its just the materials look a bit funny (or its just me) on the rim
