Onos Problem

<div class="IPBDescription">hmm...</div> I'm probably a huge n00b when asking this, but uhm... I got a problem with the oni.

I have a couple of low ceilings in the map. And when an onos jumps, it's like he jumps through the ceiling.

I think it's not hard to fix it, I just don't know how.

Can someone more experienced in mapping tell me what to do?

<3 for those who help me <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Are you compiling the map with the hull file? it is called nshulls.txt and is located in your ns directory. This file will add the dimensions needed for the lifeforms/marines its clipping code.

    If your using a batch compiler its easy to add it, look under the bsp tab and search for Hull file. Just check its checkbox and browse towards the file.

    I use ZHLT Compile GUI, at the CSG tab, I find -Hullfile, ok I click the checkbox and need to browse the directory. But:

    The file I need is nshulls.txt, right?
    But I can only select .hul files for the compiler.

    ?

    Should I rename the nshulls.txt to nshulls.hul

    Should it be fixed then?

    You could give it a shot. I'd think that it would work. You mgiht also want to try downloading Batch Compiler. It will allow you to use a txt file if renaming it doesn't work.
