The only thing it does is that you will be on your list as well. Delete yourself, and you'll have the old list back.

Mojo made it pretty clear, I thought.
I'd like to know, too, incidentally. I don't see how this improves anything. Especially considering there are many other ways Friends could be improved, like for instance, making it actually work consistently.
Me too <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Here ya go:
<!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Go into your steam directory and look in config. There should be some files like "friendsdata.vdf" and "userdata_*******.vdf" (where * is a number) Find that file, delete your "friendsdata.vdf" and rename the userdata to "friendsdata.vdf" (WITH .vdf or it won't work!) Start steam up. If you have more than 1 userdata, choose the one that is the biggest in size (mine was 4kb, the empty one was 1kb).<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Because that's what I heard. The fix doesn't work.
Oh yes, you get the names back, and all that, but you won't see their status change when they do anything. Meaning it's pretty useless except for seeing their nicks and emails.
