True, Because the marines might have good aim, and since range is the dominant variable as opposed to melee...

The vast majority of the alien tactics are derived from guerrilla tactics, attacking at the weak spots in the marine defence. So to defeat a team that does this perfectly, a marine team must preempt their every move. Early motion; high level armour quickly; multiple observatories to scan potential ambush points and then forward observatories to hold them; hand grenades to diffuse ambushes (most skulks will run when they see a nade appear in front of them, at the very least it will uncloak everything nearby).
So in short, True.
As a corollary to both my posts in your two threads on this subject; perfection is not required to beat a perfect team, it sure as hell helps, but it isn't required. What is required is cunning, dedication, awareness and creativity.
This question is not a question of perfection, but one on knowing how to accept defeat. Ignore perfection, it doesn't exist here.
Example: Two somewhat equally matched teams play against each other; one team wins and one team loses. The losing team doesn't blame other people, or ill tactics, or carelessness or bad aim. They review the demo and aren't able to find specific errors or mistakes that caused their defeat.
What can they do now?
Simple.
Say: 'Good Game' and play again for the love of the game.
I find no reason to be bitter about it. I play to have fun, and I admit I have the most fun when I win a challenging game, but I'd rather have a good challenging loss then some 'definitive' formula to winning or perfect aim or having to hear the opposite team argue about who did what wrong.
I hope that's not just me.
I belive that perfection can be made, yet to reach it is almost impossable. You would have to have the abiltie to counter tactics, before they begin. You ahve to be ablet o predict the enimies every move. so you can counter it, just before they make it.
Perfection is Not logical, There is no Logical Way to reach perfection in NS, to reach perfection you have to step beyond all logic, and command from a place of knowing, and not of thought.
You can watch a demo of no mistikes. but by thinking back to what you were thinking or feeling, at one point you made a choice. The choice you felt something, that would be illogical to follow, and you ignore it. Yet the feeling was right, there was a skulk cloaked in that corner. there is a ninja near the hive. That type of stuff. Just pure Human intution..that is were perfection is...When you can play with your eyes closed. that is when you have found it
there will be a set way to play the game enabling you to be able to respond to all the oponants do, that is as close to perfection as you can be.. there is always one dominant tactic and so there will be a perfect tactic i.e. one that can't be improved upon.
but if rines play perfect also the rines will win due to statistical values of the game.

takes longer to bite twice than it does to unload 9 bullets.. and the same for each stage of the game with carrapace etc.
but aliens do have the speed witch slightly makes up for it.
