Problem With Opening Mdls

I used to have HLMV. While I had it I could just double-click an mdl and it would open with HLMV. I recently deleted and reinstalled all my half-life stuff. My problem is I want to be able to click an .mdl and open it. I tried right clicking an mdl and selecting open with but HLMV doesnt show up on the list. Itried selecting BROWSE but i double clicked HLMV and nothing seemed to happen. MY damn computer insists on opening mdls with AIM. Any help is appreciated.

Your comp is b0rked you should use Open With... and then check "Always use this program" Use browse to find HLMV, why it isn't working IDK.

In an explorer window, tools > folder options (File Types tab).

Look for mdl, etc.

um its not hte double clicking thats annoying its the fact the damn computer is trying to open mdls with AIM not HLMV

Re-Install HLMV, then do what DarkATI said.
