<div class="IPBDescription">Need help</div> My mouse sometimes stop working like it stops sensing movement and the buttons stop working. I have to replug the mouse for it to work again. It can get really annoying sometimes. My mouse is a optical mouse with a USB plug with a PS/2 or whatever you call it (Round plug) you can plug the USB into. It happened like 5 months after I got the mouse or so. Any idea what is causing this and how to fix this? Don't feel like trying a different mouse or those mouse with the ball.

You need a new USB-> PS/@ converter. Sounds like your converter plug is breaking apart.

I have one of those mice so it's imperative I know.

Nothing to do with the plug, i got the same problem sometimes, i think it is an internal hardware problem or a windows issue. Annyway, when i get those problems again i open my mouse (dual optical from logitech), clean it, check the wires and close it again.
After that it works like a new one.

Also when the mouse stops working it stills glows. But doesn't do the turn off thing when you lift the mouse and turn it upsidedown pointing at ceiling.
