<div class="IPBDescription">lots of pics...</div>There was a big CS:Source event down in Seoul, and even if you don't like CS (as I don't) there are some interesting pics:

Because when I think of Counterstrike, I think of dancing girls. And preying mantises...
But yeah, they didn't even change the hud or vgui or anything. The E3 footage is definately more impressive. Cause w/ this it doesn't even look better, its just the same graphics + barrels that move. Ohh ahhh...

I view it like The Sims. It's fun until you've played it so much you have to take a few months off and play something else (CS if you just played The Sims, The Sims if you just played CS). Of course, you need to find a good server with admins who ban more people than, uh... Sir Bansalot.

Yes, there will most assuredly be 13-year-old cheating llamas that ruin the gameplay.

How could dancing women relate to CS in any way?
Do model-esque Asian women play CS? No.
Do the character models in CS dance? Hopefully not.
Do the hostage models resemble these women in any way? Probably not.
Do scantily-clad, dancing women sell games to prepubescent teenagers? Only the annoying ones...
...oh wait.
[Actually they would have to be postpubescent to want to buy stuff sold by women, wouldn't they?...Whatever.]
I just watch CS source videos for info on stuff the Source engine is capable of doing; then again, I only play CS when I feel like playing Arcade-realism (look, an oxymoron!) based Counter-Terrorism shooters.

When I mean realistic, I mean :
- No extra speed for carrying a knife
- No extra bouncy grenades
- Realistic damage
- Bleeding
- HE grenades shoot out shrapnel
- Can watch the other person you shot at get ripped into bits by the AWP
- Have better hostage models
- Intuitive bomb defusal
Man that's a pretty big list....
But yeah, if it's still the same thing...why bother porting it to source when you could have it running on much more low-end specs that don't need to have uber-powerful videocards?
Funny thing I have an AR-15 and I dont know the name of the part ^.^
And, after playing CS with some friends today, I'll admit that CS can be fun, if you're in a LAN centre with people you know. And if you say "Woot" out loud (clearly pronouncing the "t", of course).

I just wish this one fixes the annoying 'Run at your fastest speed when holding your knife' bit, and has new features.

According to CS Nation, CS: Source will be free with HL2. You only have to buy it if you're insane enough not to want HL2 as well. Then again, that's just hearsay and rumour.
Although, you're way off about TF2. It's a fully-fledged game, Valve have about 30 of their staff working on it. Now, after years of hard work, why would they give it away free as a mod?
That doesn't necessarily mean that there wasn't more than that, because I might not have spotted some as easily, but they are far rarer than you think. But every game has its lamers, including NS, and you should all stop saying that NS is devoid of all these problems. In my opinion, an example of a bad community would be one that says, "OMG WTH HACKERS I HATE CS" every time CS is even mentioned.
CS has good servers.
