<div class="IPBDescription">Release Candidate 2</div> I'll keep this short and sweet. Nova. Bigger. Better. Now obeys NS mapping guidelines (r_speeds, texture usage and entity count). Smoother. More sensual. You want it. You can have it. <a href='http://nsworld.ns-central.co.uk/Map.php?UniqueID=467' target='_blank'>HERE</a>.

Enough poetry <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Here's a brief list of what's changed:

- General aesthetic tweaks; details, lighting, texturing.
- MS now has a slightly different route into Orange Corridor, to cure r_speed woes and gameplay issues.
- Expanded Hive and changed certain things to make it more accessable for marines yet more defendable for aliens.
- Long ladder adjacent to Tram changed to a lift to fix issues and to make travel easier.
- Sticky areas clipped and trimmed to make getting from 'A' to 'B' feel a lot smoother.
- Crew Quarters is expanded to become a viable alternate route, with entrances near Tram and in a corridor offshoot outside of Marine Start.
- Many areas made more Onos-friendly.

There's more changes, but you can see for yourself <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Hope you guys enjoy it, and I really hope it can be playtested for inclusion in <b>Beta 5</b> <!--emo&::tsa::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tsa.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tsa.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Don't ask me why, but NSWorld features old pics even when they're no longer on my file space. No idea how it managed that considering I didn't upload them to NSWorld either, but never mind.

    Map of awesomeness! The only thing I would like to see changed is that the fire in barrel by showers sounds like a five alarm house fire, but looks like a friggin small chemical fire. Looks and sounds should be equal. That fact aside, this architexture on this map is incredible, the lighting is well suited too the map, and there is lots of cool locational stuff that I just can't wait to try out in game <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I know, I know, the sound is emphatised to spread out the ambience a bit. If I need to make any future changes, I'll reduce its radius and volume.

    Cause I don't have such a sound, and it would still have a larger radius and volume making it slightly unrealistic. At the moment, I don't want to have to redistribute the map just because I changed a single ambient_generic.

    It doesn't really matter, I don't need the precise radius control that the.mp3 entity gives for ambience, and neither entity is more efficient in terms of server-use.

    Tequila, I love the detail in this map, it's very well done. The thing that struck me first was the lived in feel, this is extremely hard to do and I feel you have pulled it off. I especially liked the missing ceiling panels.
