<div class="IPBDescription">I Need An Image Please. Pretty Please?</div> Evening all,
I'm currently in the process of making a "Tedi"
model for Half-Life in Softimage XSI.
As some of you may know, a Tedi is a
character from Conker's Bad Fur Day on the good
old Nintendo 64.
I searched Google for an age trying to find
some decent concept style pictures for the
"Rotoscope" (Image Plains/Planes/whatever)
but these where the best I could find.
Tedi Front

Tedi Side
<img src='http://homepage.ntlworld.com/pete.taylor2/images/xsi/tediz-side.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
I used those as a reference and drew this:
(Bare in mind that i'm utter crap at drawing, so
copying this from my screen to a piece of paper was
quite a challenge for me.)
<img src='http://homepage.ntlworld.com/pete.taylor2/images/xsi/Tediz01-lined.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
I draw that in about 10 minutes and I think it came out
pretty well considering my experience in the art/design
field. (I only plan to use the right-hand side so the image
doesn't have to mirror over perfectly.)
I then spent an hour trying to get my Scanner to work
under Windows XP Pro but ended up binning it and removing
the drivers. Damn Serial ports!
So I took a photo of the picture with my Camera-Phone,
took the phone to my friends shop, sent it to his PC
via a Blue Tooth connection. Then I had to open MGI
Photosuite and give the image a black out-line and then
email it to myself... and then upload it.
(PHEW!)
(The first draft, with no out-line, is here:
<a href='http://homepage.ntlworld.com/pete.taylor2/images/xsi/Tediz01.jpg' target='_blank'>http://homepage.ntlworld.com/pete.taylor2/...xsi/Tediz01.jpg</a> )
(Since this morning, I have done 3 of the same image,
but they've gotten better over time and effort. Oh and, ignore
the circular thing on his head. That's what happens when
you draw at 3am and have had too much caffine.)
What I really need now, is a "side" image of the above picture
to complete my rotoscope requirements.
I've tried several times and they all look either wrong
or just plain crappy. Some look crappily wrong. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Can anyone help me please? Thanks for your time.

I could take some good shots of a Tedi for some reference pics if you want.
