Broken Milkshape?

i get the error message "You seem to have registered afer this copy has expired! Please run MS3D for at least 2 mins to complete the registration process!"
Now, previously, i never had an error like this. and i could run and save as i should. Reinstalling does not help, because the information concerning registration time on the computer does not get deleted along with the game. I'm assuming its a registry thing. If anyone knows where/what it is in the reg, so i can delete it or fix it, that would be lovely.
If that is not the case, another explination would be just lovely.
