Spiderman 2 Pc = Crap

Spiderman 2 Console = Winnity Win
Well with the release of Spiderman 2, comes the inevitable game tie in.
So off I rush down to my local EB and pick up a copy of Spiderman 2, install it and start playing.
Then I rush back 4 hours later to return it.
I already beat the damn thing...
Now I think to myself. "I seem to recall particularly awesome E3 videos for this game, why did it turn out so incredibly easy and not feature any of the levels the video showed"
Well that's quite easy to explain.
If you went out and bought Spiderman 2 for the PC, you would be playing an incredibly easy game that is aimed towards little children.
BUT if you went out and bought Spiderman 2 for a console, you would be playing Spiderman meets GTA3 in Manhattan.
Yes. SLIGHTLY ANNOYED at Activision on that one. Consoles get an incredibly awesome Spiderman game, and PC users get reemed from behind... BAH IT ALL TO BLOODY HELL.
Now I gotta decide if I should buy Spiderman 2 for the Gamecube....

Those end up either too easy :\
As for the GC version....rent it first, then evaluate. If you find it's good, then buy it (obviously)
PC Version is so incredibly linear and easy it's not funny. I am extremely disappointed with Activision for doing this.
There are no hardcore pc users out there who want a really damn challanging game, and obviously no child who just want a simple gamecude to stick in there room and play because its easy to use,
How about this radical concept that has flown right over the heads of Activision: release two separate Spiderman 2 games for PC, for 2 entirely different audiences. Like I said, radical.
THEY ARE DIFFERENT GAMES.
The console version is very, very cool, though it's not very long. The actual plot takes a very short amount of time to beat. However, there is an enormous quantity of extra things and webslinging around the city is awesome, so it's got a lot of hours of gameplay in it.
The combat is a little eh, but on a whole it's a really solid game.

After Halo not having [Co-Op] in the PC version, what more do you expect?
Buy computer-only game titles from now on, Infinitum. None of this console-to-computer cross-over bullsh**.
[edited for clarity]
Look whose talking!
I didn't know Spider-Man beat up civilians...
There are cars and civilians and stuff. From my OXM it seems that the game draws very fast and fluidly (where you can swing really quickly between parts in the city). I'm not sure on the actual mechanics of how it works, but I guess you can run around and do tiny side missions for people and stop petty crimes instead of just beating up on the main evil dude.
It says there are mini quests you can do like stopping muggers, bank robberies etc in a CoH style way.
Sounds pretty cool.
I think we should just kill off every marketing team from all of the popular games companies. They just dont have a clue.
And yes. I'm still **** off with the Lucasarts marketing team cancelling Sam&Max2 in favour of Generic-Starwars-shooter 8! now with 20% more stormtroopers.

Lets not forget interplay...
Lets get rid of everything that could have possibly made us any money at all!
As for Spiderman2.. I kinda thought after they released the PC demo everyone had already realized the PC version would be complete different and a lot worse than the console one.. I mean, they even released some kind of statement saying that at one point or another.. Maybe not the "a lot worse" but more "Aimed at children" As far as I'm concerned the kids of today could use a challenge.. but obviously the gaming industry must belive they've all been dropped on their heads as a child and require linear, simple games.. Well, no. Not even that. Just flat out easy games.
I mean, Mario was linear and simple.. but still a fair challenge to beat..
