Corrupt Text
<div class="IPBDescription">need to format?</div> Hi, my sister's PC's fonts have gone all corrupted. All the text in Windows has been replaced with blocks and odd symbols (the kind of stuff that replaces Japanese text if you don't install the language pack). I presume I'll have to format it? If so, how? Can I go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management and do it from there? If so, will that completely wipe everything, and will it 'remember' to reinstall Windows when it's finished? I just need a simple way to format the PC (bear in mind I'm practically blind when using the machine itself) in a way it'll remember to reinstall Windows on itself.
Or, does anyone know of this problem? It actually happened after installing a virus scanner and firewall . I restarted the machine and all the text was ruined. Any easy way of fixing it?
Please help!

I think reformatting is overdoing it a bit
"Let's just buy another computer!"
