<div class="IPBDescription">Cheaters are all the same.</div> If you have some killing machine on the server with stats simillar to 20/2 (well cheaters run out of ammo too ^^), like me some minutes ago where me and 2 other guys were running at this marine and he took me out with the lmg, then switched to pistol and took out the 2 other guys on the fly(without anny upgrade). Now this is nothing special, everyoe has those good moments <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->, but this was going so long till he had 23/1 stats.
I asked the admin if CD is on, and he said no, now i asked the 23/1 guy if he is cheating, and now we came to the topic. He said "lol" yeah that's right "lol".
I saw lots of those guys and every one used lol for an answer!

<shrugs> doesn't sound like a fun server to be playing on anyway.
So another "fact" is that they use strange names mostly in slang-gang-stuff language.
And i do see cheaters really often. When some guy runns like the devil himself is after him (means really really fast) and i know that it was no lagging becouse it was smooth and extremly fast, what yhould i think then? I am not a novice, and i am able to sneak... But when he aims at me when i'm not even at the corner what should i think?
It is not that i call someone a cheater just becouse he kills me few times, but when just 1 man without backup nukes the whole team all the time without wasting 1 bullet on the walls or floor i would say it is a cheat, but maybe i just don't see that god himself is playing <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->.

I just collect information to prove my theory. Psychologists have the same method, they know what a person thinks when they says some certain things, and how they react in some situations. So: sounds stupid? Maybe. Is stupid? Not at all.
So let us analyze a cheater in the sitiation when he is asked if he does cheat.
They know that they are doing it, so they have to lie to be undetected. But when they are encountered with the one question which can decide to get them banned or stay there and maybe visit again for some fun, becouse naive admins are hard to find.
Now they think "man i must answer something really fast!", so they think that a fast answer is better that a well thought one, a human can never lie as good as tell the true (FACT! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> ). So here we come to the "lol" point. It i spretty fast typed and should tell us that it can't be true.. ... Those are true.
"He's better than me, has good stats, and isn't talkative or just doesn't care what I think = Cheats."
... That is not nessacarily true. Quite a few people are able to do what you just said this "cheater" was doing. Please become more familiarized with the game and then try to realize that people do play this game and figure things out. Amazing stats in a public game, CO none the less, really mean nothing execpt that that player is either better than or smarter than (Or both, really) you and most of your team. Should someone say "lol" he's probably just laughing at the situation, your mistake, or he's saying that to his friends/people who know him in the server.
People don't like explaining why they're doing well in-game. Talk to them via the friends list or IRC or something, but if they don't want to talk to you in or out of game that's their choice really.
Cheaters are quite infrequent in NS, yet the majority of the community who don't know of the higher-skilled players seem to think that they cheat.
It's much like any other game. Take CS, put Jim the pubber vs ksharp and you're probably not going to end up with a very pleased new player.
Expand your mind more.
And this post isn't just for him. Everyone who thinks that they know the limits to the game but have not fought some of the best really ought to reconsider their view on things.

It is NOT CS where it is possible for a good player to eradiate the whole team. NS is different.
As i said, it was not just once, he nuked us all the time.
I am playing this game now for 8 months several hours a day, trust me i got experience. It is not possible, you can not find a player that can do that to a non-noob team which attacks from various directions, jumping, hiding, sneaking... Well you can but they cheat.
It is verry naive to believe that manny of the "good" players are legit. And there are cheats for NS and they WORK! Have you guys saw <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=73623&hl=' target='_blank'>this thread</a>? Watch the vids and then tell me again there is no potential cheat danger for NS. Most of the hacks there i have saw in action, and what do you expect to see in spectator mode? there is nothing to see, they can set a lag into their auto aim system so it appears natural.
Infrequient is not a really suitable description. Yesterday i saw that speed hacker, all the pople on the server did, and he got banned(yay i reported), and today this...
CD is quite a good system to prevent cheating, even cheat manufacturer agree with this. but not manny servers got cd ACTIVE, becouse steam got often updates and they tend to be uncompatible with older CD... Lazy admins...

it's impossible for you to know what someone else is thinking because you're basing your data purely on assumption, invalid argument, but regardless for all you know they've concocted an elaborate story and have it bound to a key, ready to hit it when someone asks if they're cheating

Who said i took a course, i am interested and i have a feeling of human thinking, it is simple, and i know that you will disagree that you are all(including me) calculable in certain situations, but let's chop that situiation in smaller parts. The core is the lie. Our lieing is mainly instinctive, and we can not spend time for thinking of a good lie in that situation, you get in panic and say something dumb, or just take the safe way and say lol.

Just think about your thinking, experiment with certain situations which other people encounter, you will see that we are verry automated, you do not think about it when you grab your glas and fill it with water, you just do it. and you will do it the same way every time.

Why would anyone panic when someone hiding under an acronym asks if you have a third party application running of which you are able to automatically aim towards something this application persieves as an enemy?

You are familiar with the concept of lying right? So if you ask that question and I actually answer it other than "lol" or "yes I am ;-)" then it will be a no, if I'm not cheating I won't tell you seriously that I do, if I am cheating I will lie. I'm not going to type an essay in the middle of a game since if you are familiar with the concept of lying you will realise that I might well be lying and I would have wasted alot of typing.
