Now, I know many of you could care less about Street Fighter, and are glad they decided to stop milking the franchise, or something. But to me, Street Fighter was a major major part of my childhood.I spent hours and countless quarters in the arcades back when I was in Jr. High oh this beloved franchise. And now that's all gonna be gone, there aren't gonna be any new ones. :(

The worst part is leaving the characters behind. Street Fighter had some truely unique and memorable characters... Ryu, Ken, Blanka, Chun-Li, etc. May they rest in peace. :(

    On one hand, I'm sad to see that Street Fighter will no longer be a part of the Capcom line up.

    On the other hand, I no longer have to fear what Street Fighter will be fighting next and I can breathe easier at the thought that this just might slow all the low quality "fan art."

    SF was my childhood too, except I always felt a more ... I guess 'cultural' attachment to SNK's games (particularly Samurai Spirits and Last Blade series).

    And yes, fanart will never die; just look at the dojinshi market... Capcom dojins will live on FOREVER.

    Wait, I just realized, does this mean no more Power Stone? Though I doubt they'd even make a third one and continue the series, it'd be fun to see it made. So Capcom's just stopping from the 2D Fighter Department? Or 3D aswell?
